MY TATTOO PHILOSOPHY

To me, a tattoo is a way of expressing creativity — a spark of decisiveness, a moment in time, a memory made permanent. Even when the tattoo itself isn't steeped in deep meaning, I believe the experience of being tattooed should be as nurturing and memorable as the mark itself.

Get to know me

I live in the Nicaraguan jungle, close to nature and the rhythm it moves in. Creation sits at the center of my life — drawing, traveling, yoga, music, surfing, all the same impulse in different forms. I have Belgian roots and a nomadic heart.

My drawings come from visions during meditation, from what I notice in nature, from life itself, and from cultures I've moved through along the way. I started handpoking while traveling in Mexico — the place where Frida Kahlo's art and spirit first got under my skin. Through the friendships I made there, I learned the craft, and kept learning ever since — courses, practice, years of hands-on work.

Regular tattoo session / Flash Session

Share your intention, the story behind the idea, any references, and your desired placement and size. If it resonates with my work, we set a date.

A $50 deposit secures your appointment (deducted from your final price). Once confirmed, I create your design and send the sketch in advance — sit with it, feel into it. We can still refine it together during the session so it moves naturally with your body.

Ceremonial session

You can choose to add a tattoo ritual to your session — infusing your tattoo with deeper intention and meaning, and settling your energy before we begin, so your skin, heart, and soul feel aligned for this transformative marking.

The words "ceremony" or "ritual" can feel a little intimidating, but really, it's simply about slowing down — giving the art you're choosing for your body, and the lasting change it creates on your skin, the nurturing time and grounding it truly deserves.

After talking through the final technical details of your tattoo, we begin the ritual with a warm cacao welcome — potent, ceremonial-grade raw cacao from Nicaragua. Cacao is a powerful feminine plant medicine that nurtures and opens the heart, awakening inspiration and connection, especially for women. I guide you through a short grounding meditation to honour and integrate it fully.

From there, we move into intention-setting and an oracle card reading — and, if it calls to you, a look at where on your body this story wants to live, drawing on what I know of the body's energy centers.
